The setup
He is Europe's rare penholder, and he plays the reverse-backhand attacking game that used to be a Chinese speciality — the backhand is a weapon, not a cover for the forehand. If you are weighing the penhold blades, our Xu Xin Blue Label vs Tibhar Felix comparison covers the construction arguments on both sides.
The blade is his signature Félix Lebrun Hyper Carbon, with his name and Tibhar's mark on the face and the Felix print on the red-and-blue handle. Before it he played Tibhar's Hybrid AC Inside.
On both wings he plays Hybrid K3 Pro, the newer version of the sheet he had before, Hybrid K3. The K3 family is Tibhar's hybrid — a grippy topsheet on a firm German-made sponge — and the Pro is the sheet on his racket now. Our Rubbers price table lists the Hybrid K3 at $49; the Pro is not on the table yet, so name it in the quote request.
