The setup
The blade is the one everybody recognises: STIGA's Cybershape Carbon, with the squared-off hexagonal head rather than the round one. Our STIGA gallery covers the Cybershape Wood — the hexagonal all-wood retail version, which is a different and much cheaper build — and the blades table carries the Cybershape Carbon CWT Truls Edition, the one with his name on the face. Before the Cybershape he played STIGA's Carbonado 290.
On both wings he plays Helix Platinum XH, STIGA's German-made sheet in its XH, extra-hard sponge grade. Both sides the same: no tacky forehand, no split between the wings. Before this pairing he had Mantra H on both sides — the same hard-sponge idea in the previous STIGA line, which is why the rubbers table's Mantra M is the soft cousin rather than the sheet he actually uses. Helix Platinum XH is not on the table, so name it in the quote request.
For the wood-and-fibre arguments behind a blade choice like this, our choosing blade structure guide is the place to start.
