The Japanese international Tomokazu Harimoto, of Okayama Rivets, plays the Butterfly Harimoto Innerforce Super ALC with ZYRE-03 on both the forehand and the backhand.

The setup
The blade is Butterfly's Harimoto Tomokazu Innerforce Super ALC, his signature board and the one he moved to from the Harimoto Innerforce ALC: an inner-fibre blade, with the composite set under the face wood rather than on top, so it reads like wood at low force and only opens up when you commit to the swing. Our blade feel fundamentals guide groups the Super ALC with the inner-fibre, kiri-core builds that keep the release linear at high force, and Table Tennis Kingdom put it at No. 1 in its 2025 top-ten shakehand list.
On both wings he plays ZYRE-03, Butterfly's newest flagship: a clean, non-tacky Ricosheet topsheet over an extra-thick Spring Sponge X tuned hard, with the highest spin figure Butterfly lists for a rubber. The tacky side of the family is not in this setup at all — he loads serve and the opening loop with the sheet's own grip rather than with surface stickiness, and the sponge gives the pace back on a full swing. His forehand came up through Tenergy 80 and then Tenergy 05 before this, and his backhand through Tenergy 05FX and Tenergy 05, the same progression our Tenergy before Dignics guide describes for the high-tension line.
